Monday  October 1

Greg and Deanna left for home yesterday (Sunday) Greg was suffering with a sore tooth when they got here
Said he had gone to a dentist at High Level - and was told there was a little cavity and he made an appointment Said that when the plane lifted off at Kelowna to come here the pain set in as well.   Jack took him to an emergency at the u of a and got some pain killers.  That held him until he got home.
On Saturday night we went to Don and Peggy's Lobe at Vegerville for a bbq  and Sunday in the afternoon we went to Heritage festival.  Lots iof food booths.  We had ice ccream in Jamacia; welch cakes in Wales and
spring rolls in borneo.  It was all good.   Today we are going to drive to Fort Saskatchewan, take a steam train ride to White Avenue and there will be a bus to get our car.  Big rainstorm durning the night - 1/2 inch
Went over to seee Violet last night  - she is fine.
Until next time

July 21 camping trip

It has beeen some time since I have had a blogging instinct.  So here goes - just last week for this entry.
We left here on Tuesday afternoon and drove via H21 as far as Strathmore and camped at a very nice campsite for the night.  Left about 10 Wednesday morning and drove to Ft. Mcleod.  Before going to Murray and Linda's we checked in at the Daisy Mae campsite.  It is a nice site with all hook-ups.
Went over to Murrays at about three and had a nice visit until Erin and Nathan and his girlfriend came
for supper. Nathan has a very nice ladyfriend (I'll think of her name)  She will be really good for him.  (They are talking "Moving-in")  We had a nice supper of BBQ ribs and a good visit.
Thursday morning back to Murrays for breakfast.  Then at about 11;30 we went our separate ways.
We went for a drive over the porkupine hills all the way to H22 and came back out at Clarshome
The wildflowers were unbelievably beautiful over the hillsw and so many different ones.  The woodland lily really put on a show.  We met Murray and Linda for supper at a pasta hut that night.
Friday we drove to Lethbridge and shopped (looked around) then back to Linda's for supper a workbee for cone-shaped holders for rose petals that will be used at Leah's wedding on July 30th in Carrot River SK.
We left Ft. Mcleod on Saturday morning for Waterton.  Our plans were to do the Logan pass but we forgot to take our passports so camped at Waterton until Monday morning and got as far as Pincher Creek
where we camped again on a very hot day.  Jack wanted to do the museum and I wanted to sit
About two hours later I suddenly got quite sick.  Throw up etc.  The campsite owner walked by the trailor and I told him my story and he quickly drove me to the hospital.  After several 'Pukes"  and intervenus and some shots and rest the doc said  I had food poisoning but he released me about seven and all was well.  I felt weak the next day but we left and drove homeward via Sparewood, down to Elko back to Radium Hot springs and via 93 to Lake Louise (We camped at Windermere)  Then on to
Rocky Mtn house for the night and arrived home mid-afernoon.
I will continue tomorrow have work waiting.
